About Annie Whitehead

Annie works from her private practice in north Leeds.  She trained at the North of England Teaching Centre for the Alexander Technique (NETCAT). She first became involved in Alexander Technique when she became ill with Chronic Fatigue Syndrome.  Using the Technique as part of her recovery programme, she was so impressed with how much it helped, she decided to undertake the three year training programme to become a teacher.

Annie teaches both individual sessions and runs small group workshops.  She also does work through a Well Women Centre in Wakefield, and a charity, SOLACE, which supports refugees and asylum seekers.

Individual lessons are 40 minutes.  The price varies according to the client’s circumstances and number of lessons booked.  Discounts are available for block bookings.  Workshops for small groups can be arranged.  The next programme of workshops will run in September 2010, for ten weeks in Chapel Allerton, north Leeds and Wakefield city centre (see separate page for further information).  Annie provides home visits  for people who cannot travel.
